Please read the following Terms & Conditions carefully before placing a booking with Lendz Club Ltd. By completing a booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by all terms stated below.

1. Introduction

These terms govern all rentals, services, and interactions between Lendz Club Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) and the customer (“you”, “your”).

By renting equipment from Lendz Club Ltd, you enter a legally binding agreement and accept full responsibility for the equipment for the duration of the rental period.

2. Equipment

“Equipment” refers to any item supplied as part of your rental, including but not limited to:

  • Canon G7X Mark III camera
  • Batteries & chargers
  • SD card
  • SD card adapter
  • Protective case or pouch
  • Any accessories provided by Lendz Club Ltd

All equipment remains the sole property of Lendz Club Ltd at all times.

3. Rental Period

The rental period begins on the start date and ends on the return date specified in your booking confirmation.

You must return or dispatch the equipment on or before the agreed return date.

Late returns may incur additional charges as stated in Section 11.

4. Booking, Verification & Eligibility

By placing a booking:

  • You confirm that all information provided is accurate.
  • You agree to provide valid identification if requested.
  • You confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract.
  • We reserve the right to reject bookings at our discretion.

5. Payment & Card Authorisation

  • Full payment is required at the time of booking.
  • You authorise Lendz Club Ltd to securely store your payment details.
  • You authorise Lendz Club Ltd to charge your stored card for:
    • Damage to equipment
    • Loss or theft
    • Replacement costs
    • Late return fees
    • Any unpaid rental charges

You agree that these charges may be processed without additional consent, in accordance with these terms.

6. Security Deposit (If Applied)

If a security deposit is applied to a booking, it will be:

  • Held securely for the duration of the rental
  • Used to cover repair, replacement, or additional fees
  • Refunded once the equipment is returned in acceptable condition

Any deductions will be clearly itemised and communicated to you.

7. Delivery, Drop-Off & Returns

7.1 UK Delivery

For UK delivery bookings, equipment will be dispatched to the delivery address provided at checkout via a tracked and signed-for courier service.

Customers are responsible for:

  • Ensuring the delivery address provided is accurate and complete
  • Confirming that someone will be available at the delivery address on the rental start date to accept and sign for the parcel
  • Safely storing the equipment once delivered

UK delivery bookings will not be dispatched without confirmation of availability on the rental start date.

If confirmation is not received, the booking may be cancelled prior to dispatch. Rental periods will not be extended to accommodate missed or reattempted deliveries.

7.2 Liverpool Drop-Off

For Liverpool bookings, equipment will be delivered to the agreed address on the rental start date.

Customers are responsible for:

  • Ensuring access is available at the agreed address and time
  • Being present to receive the equipment on the rental start date

Failure to receive the delivery at the agreed time may result in cancellation of the booking.

7.3 Returns

All UK delivery rentals include a prepaid return label.

Customers must:

  • Repack the equipment securely using the original packaging provided
  • Return the equipment on or before the agreed return date
  • Obtain and retain proof of postage

Failure to return equipment on time may result in late fees and/or additional charges in accordance with these terms.

8. Condition of Equipment

You agree to:

  • Inspect the equipment upon receipt
  • Notify Lendz Club Ltd immediately of any missing or damaged items
  • Care for the equipment responsibly
  • Keep the equipment clean and dry
  • Avoid environments that may cause damage (e.g., water, sand, extreme heat)

Equipment must be returned in the same condition it was received.

9. Damage, Loss & Theft

You are fully liable for the equipment from the moment it is collected or delivered until it is returned.

9.1 Damage

If the equipment is damaged, you are responsible for the full cost of repair, including:

  • Parts
  • Labour
  • Shipping
  • Diagnostic fees

9.2 Loss or Theft

If the equipment is lost or stolen, you agree to pay the full replacement cost.

You must notify us immediately if the equipment is lost or stolen.

9.3 Damage Beyond Repair

If damage renders the equipment unusable, you will be charged the full replacement cost.

Replacement values are based on current retail pricing.

10. Misuse & Prohibited Use

Equipment must NOT be:

  • Used underwater or in extreme weather
  • Used in hazardous locations
  • Lent to a third party
  • Used for illegal activities
  • Modified, opened, or tampered with

Any misuse will result in termination of the rental and full liability for damages.

11. Late Returns

If equipment is not returned by the agreed date:

  • A late fee of £50 per day will apply
  • After 5 days, the rental will be considered a loss and you will be charged the full replacement cost

Late fees and replacement fees may be charged to your stored card automatically.

12. Cancellations & Refunds

  • More than 48 hours before start date: Refund minus a £10 admin fee
  • Within 48 hours of start date: Non-refundable
  • After rental has begun: No refunds

If Lendz Club Ltd cancels a booking, a full refund will be issued.

13. Data Loss & Content Responsibility

Lendz Club Ltd is not responsible for:

  • Loss of footage, images, or data
  • Corrupted SD cards
  • Failed transfers
  • Incompatibility with your device
  • Any earnings or opportunities lost due to equipment malfunction

You are advised to back up your content immediately.

14. Privacy & Data Protection

We collect and process personal data in accordance with UK GDPR.

Data may be used for:

  • Processing bookings
  • Contacting you about your rental
  • Sending marketing (if you opt in)
  • Preventing fraud

We never share your data with third parties except for payment processing or legal obligations.

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your data at any time.

15. Liability Limitations

Lendz Club Ltd is not liable for:

  • Injury or damage caused by misuse of equipment
  • Business interruption, loss of profit, or consequential loss
  • Delays caused by couriers or third parties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount paid for your rental.

16. Amendments

We may update these terms at any time.

The most recent version will always be available on this page.

Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any updated terms.

17. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes will be handled exclusively by the courts of England and Wales.

18. Acceptance of Terms

By completing a booking on lendzclub.com, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions.
